Brand Collateral + Packaging
Trellis Earth was looking to update their branding and packaging with a fresh new take on sustainability. With the help of new colors, branded icons and a fresh layout, KKD (Katie Kashiwa Designs) was able to transform Trellis’s sales and marketing materials and packaging design.
All designs, paper selection and fulfillment was done by Kate Kashiwa Designs.

The process began with updating Trellis’s sales and marketing collateral by pulling in warm earth tones with a splash of their signature green. Plant imagery was also introduced to visually represent their biodegradable lines of cutlery, bags and school lunch trays.
Packaging and Implementation
Trellis’s packaging was outdated and needed a fresh clean start from packaging layout to graphics and implementation. Through the collaboration KKD was able to design a fresh new retail cutlery box, with biodegradable trays. Focusing on the icons, pops of green and selecting recycled kraft stock, brought this biodegradable cutlery box to life and embodied the companies mission to reduce & reuse.
Biodegradable Bag Design
Using the branded icons, KKD designed new biodegradable shopping bags to keep in-line with the brands new identity.
